Computer Based Role-Playing Games
My first big bite into RPG games on the computer started with 'Knights of the Old Republic'. My wife bought me the game thinking it was another FPS, but once I installed it, we decided to play it together. We tend to make a pretty good team in these types of games. After our first taste, we were hooked. 'Knights of the Old Republic 2' soon followed. After those two we stumbled across 'NeverWinter Nights' and our fate was sealed. We started playing together over our local network and that managed to kill the better part of a year. Even now, we have started over with fresh characters and even allowed our daughter to join in. For those of you who grew up playing the paper based role-playing games and can't seem to find the time and place to get a group of friends together to continue playing, this is the cure.
